Job Summary

Northern Engine & Supply has been serving the heavy-duty trucking and equipment industry since 1953. What started as a heavy equipment parts supplier has grown into a trusted regional partner providing truck parts, hydraulic components, industrial supplies, and equipment solutions to customers across multiple industries. We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to grow our presence in the Duluth and surrounding territory. This position is responsible for developing new business, strengthening existing accounts, and driving revenue growth across the heavy-duty, construction, mining, industrial, and off-highway equipment markets. We are looking for a self-starter who thrives in outside sales, enjoys building relationships, and has the passion to exceed goals.

• Prospect and develop new business through cold calling, emails, in-person visits, and networking.
• Maintain and grow existing customer accounts through regular territory visits.
• Promote heavy-duty truck parts, hydraulic systems, and industrial components.
• Identify customer needs and provide consultative solutions.
• Coordinate with inside sales and service teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment. n.
• Track sales activity, customer data, and pipeline within company systems. Skills
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Experience in heavy-duty trucking, construction equipment, mining, and industrial parts preferred.
• Basic knowledge of hydraulic systems and diesel fuel components is a plus.
• Proficiency with CRM and basic computer systems.
• Valid driver's license required with a clean driving history. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
