Duties

• Lead and supervise all store operations, including sales, inventory management, and customer service initiatives.
• Recruit, interview, and onboard new employees while providing ongoing training and development to enhance team performance.
• Manage employee orientation programs to ensure staff are well-informed about company policies and customer service expectations.
• Oversee payroll processing, bookkeeping, and cash handling procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Implement effective merchandising, pricing strategies, and promotional activities to maximize sales and meet revenue targets.
• Maintain inventory control through regular stock audits, purchasing decisions, and POS (Point of Sale) system management.
• Supervise shift management, ensuring proper staffing levels, efficient workflow, and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Proven management experience in retail or grocery store environments with supervising responsibilities.
• Strong skills in negotiation, sales management, and customer service excellence.
• Demonstrated ability in recruiting, training, and developing team members; previous assistant manager experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems, POS technology, bookkeeping, payroll processing, and retail math.
• Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable.
• Knowledge of retail marketing strategies, merchandising techniques, and pricing methods.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively while managing time efficiently.
