Behind Every Great Sales Team Is Someone Who Actually Keeps It Running. Deals don't close themselves but they also don't close without someone making sure the contract went out, the group block is built right, the rsum is accurate, and the client's fifteen "quick questions" all got answered. That someone is the Sales Coordinator, and at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Milwaukee, that someone is about to matter a lot. We're building a new sales team at this full-service Marriott property, and this role is the engine room. You'll work directly with our Director of Sales supporting group business, corporate accounts, and events and you'll learn hotel sales from the inside, at the elbow of the person doing it at the highest level. • The details that close deals. Draft contracts and proposals, build group blocks, enter rooming lists, and keep CI/TY (our sales system we'll train you) accurate and up to date
• Client communication. Respond to inquiries, route leads to the Director of Sales fast, and make every client interaction feel effortless and professional
• Group rsums & turnovers. Prepare the documents that tell the hotel exactly what each group needs, so operations delivers flawlessly
• The sales office rhythm. Manage the department calendar, coordinate site visit logistics, prep reports and pace updates, and keep the files everyone depends on organized
• Special projects. Sales blitz support, client appreciation touches, RFP season assistance the stuff that makes a sales office hum Who Thrives Here
• You're relentlessly organized and detail-obsessed typos and double-booked meetings physically bother you
• You write clearly and communicate professionally, on email and on the phone
• You're comfortable with Microsoft Office and pick up new systems fast (hotel sales systems experience like CI/TY or Delphi is a bonus, not a requirement)
• You handle multiple priorities without dropping any and you ask questions instead of guessing
