Southwest Industrial Rigging (SWIR) is seeking a high-energy Crane Rental Sales Representative to expand our footprint in the Arizona marketplace. This is a pivotal role that combines technical expertise with relationship-based selling to provide safe, efficient lifting solutions for our clients.

Job Summary

The Crane Rental Sales Representative is responsible for driving revenue through the sale of both operated and bare crane rentals. This is not a "desk job"you will be on the front lines, conducting job walks and site visits to determine the exact equipment and personnel required for complex projects. You will act as the bridge between the customer and our operations team, ensuring every lift is planned with precision and executed safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate profitable sales within new and existing accounts through proactive calls and networking.
• Attend site meetings and perform job walks to assess ground conditions, measurements and logistical constraints.
• Prepare detailed quotes and lift plans that align with customer specifications and safety standards.
• Work closely with Dispatch and the Division Manager to schedule crews, cranes, trucks and trailers.
• Collaborate with the accounting department to establish new customer accounts in accordance with company policy.

Requirements

• Experience in Sales with a strong knowledge of cranes, trucking and trailers.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively with field crews and executives alike.
• Ability to thrive under pressure, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficient in Windows, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), and web-based job software.
• Must be able to work 40+ hours per week, including after-hours or on-call shifts as needed.
