The Carrier Sales Representative is responsible for sourcing and vetting carrier services, while always focusing on growing long-term relationships with Carriers. • Build long standing relationships with new and existing, carriers and co-workers to support our customer needs
• Continual sourcing of new carrier partners and existing underutilized carrier partners
• Accountable for tracking and tracing all pickups and deliveries
• Resolving service issues while working with management team
• Strong negotiation skills to help minimize our transportation spend
• Assist & support other departments as needed Skills & Ability
• Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form
• Understanding urgency and time critical operations to support the needs of the business
• Highly motivated (driven to succeed), competitive, personable and outgoing
