Responsibilities

• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for retail sales transactions, including cash handling and basic math calculations.
• Upsell products and suggest complementary items to maximize sales opportunities.
• Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking efforts.
• Process retail transactions efficiently while adhering to phone etiquette and communication standards.
• Support store operations by managing inventory, conducting stock checks, and assisting with inventory organization.
• Supervise or assist in supervising team members during shifts to ensure smooth store operations.
• Demonstrate product knowledge to educate customers about features and benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous retail sales experience preferred; grocery store experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and retail math calculations.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to provide excellent customer service.
• Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
• Experience in supervising or leading team members is advantageous.
