• Growth opportunities We are looking for a licensed sales agent to join our team! As a licensed agent, you will be responsible for selling home, auto, and condo insurance policies to wonderful people. This is full time and in office and the ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, have at least 500 LinkedIn connections, college educated, currently employed, easily able to communicate & interact with others, & be a self-starter. Personal Lines or Property and Casualty Insurance license required before starting.

Responsibilities

:

• Assist with servicing current customers through reviews and cancellation lists
• Prospect for new business through leads, networking, involvement in local community events, & personal contacts
• Comply with insurance standards and regulations
• Track and identify areas of improvement
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and contribute to team success

Qualifications

:

• Valid Personal Lines or Property and Casualty License
• Customer service experience
• Previous experience in insurance preferred
• Ability to sell successfully over-the-phone
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Demonstrated outbound phone sales background
• Proficient in MS Office Word, Outlook, Excel
• Positive attitude
• Dependable
• Team player
• Valid driver's license required
• Able to pass background check to become appointed with Allstate

Compensation

:

• $46k base salary plus commission (avg. first year agents making $85k-123/yr)
• Additional performance-based bonuses and incentives
• Paid time-off
• Paid holidays Signing Bonus of $400 after 90 days Job Type: Full-time Pay: $46,000 base salary plus commission (avg. first year agents making $83k-123/yr)
