RealSimGear is a San Diego based designer and manufacturer of advanced flight simulation components and systems. We believe flying is safer when pilots practice more and develop true mastery of their skills, procedures and the airplane, and that everyone can benefit from this with the right access to great flight simulation. We design, build, ship and support world class simulator products that are the most elegant, most reliable sims available for the home environment and for commercial operators. Everyone on the RealSimGear team plays a role in delivering toward this mission. We're looking for a Sales & Marketing Associate to own the day-to-day execution of our marketing strategy and help keep a steady flow of qualified leads flowing for our sales team. Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, this is a rare opportunity to work across both marketing and sales, you'll build the content and campaigns that attract pilots and flight schools, and you'll be close enough to the sales process to see your work turn into real results. It's a hands-on role with training and guidance provided, and it's built to grow: as the company grows, the role can expand and adapt around your strengths and ambitions.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the execution of the marketing plan, deliver weekly email newsletters, blog articles, and social media posts on schedule.
• Maintain and grow our social media accounts across platforms, keeping the brand active and consistent.
• Help monitor and manage paid advertising spend, working toward efficient, lead-generating campaigns.
• Field inbound phone calls, answer product questions, and prepare quotes for prospective customers.
• Assist with ensuring our training & referral partners are equipped with the necessary marketing materials to effectively demo our products.
• Maintain and update our website to keep product information, content, and messaging current.
• Work with our content team to ensure a steady flow of video and photography that supports the marketing plan.
• Prepare for and attend industry events and trade shows, representing RealSimGear and generating leads.

Required Qualifications

• Strong written communication skills and an eye for clear, on-brand copy.
• Comfort working across multiple channels email, social, web, phone and juggling several tasks at once.
• Organized and self-directed, able to keep a content calendar and campaigns running on time.
• Willingness to learn the sales side: handling calls, preparing quotes, and supporting the pipeline.
• Genuine interest in aviation and flight simulation.
• Ability to travel

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with flying or flight training (as a pilot, student pilot, or flight sim enthusiast), a significant advantage in this role.
• Hands-on experience with email marketing platforms, social media management, or paid ad tools.
• Basic familiarity with website content management (e.g. Shopify or similar).
• Experience with photo/video content or working alongside creative teams.
• Any prior marketing, sales, or customer-facing experience. RealSimGear values initiative, clear communication, and a real curiosity about aviation. This role is ideally suited to someone with a passion for flying, either as a pilot or a flight sim enthusiast.
