Duties

• Greet customers warmly and identify their needs to recommend suitable furniture options
• Conduct engaging product demos to showcase features, comfort, and style of furniture pieces
• Assist customers with selecting, merchandising, and stocking furniture displays to create attractive shopping environments
• Process sales transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems, handle cash and card payments with professionalism
• Upsell complementary products and accessories to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales
• Maintain excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or providing support remotely
• Ensure inventory is well-stocked, organized, and properly displayed according to merchandising standards
• Provide outstanding customer service by addressing questions, offering solutions, and ensuring a positive shopping experience

Qualifications

• Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in furniture or home goods environments
• Supervising experience is a plus for leadership opportunities within the team
• Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain product features clearly and confidently
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, retail math calculations, and inventory management
• Experience with POS systems, cashiering, and cash handling procedures required
• Knowledge of merchandising techniques and stock management practices preferred
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills essential for building rapport with clients
