The Role Product Sales Engineer We're looking for a technically skilled, relationship-oriented professional who thrives on problem-solving and delivering value to customers. The ideal candidate has experience within the utilities or infrastructure industries, enjoys both technical analysis and client interaction, and can work independently while collaborating across teams. Responsibilities

• Conduct technical and competitive analyses to support product performance and positioning
• Review specifications, support testing, and lead or participate in quality initiatives
• Provide technical expertise during customer engagements and industry events
• Develop and deliver product training with sales and marketing partners
• Participate in industry committees and represent the company at trade shows and conferences
• Support continuous improvement and research efforts for new product opportunities Success in the First Year First 3 Months Gain a solid understanding of the product line, value propositions, and key market dynamics. Begin engaging with customers and internal teams. By 6 Months Lead technical discussions independently and contribute meaningfully to major customer opportunities. Provide valuable insights to support product development. By 12 Months Be recognized as a trusted technical resource and industry representative. Play a direct role in driving growth and shaping future product strategies.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (or related field)
• At least 5 years of experience in the waterworks, power utility, or related industry
• Proficiency with technical modeling and analysis tools
• Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills
• Willingness to travel as needed and maintain a flexible schedule
• Valid driver's license Preferred:
• 10+ years of relevant industry experience
