About the Position As a Technical Account Manager (TAM) you serve as a liaison between the company and its clients, focusing on technical aspects. You help clients implement and optimize products or services, address technical issues, and ensure customer satisfaction. TAMs collaborate with professional services, managed services, and development teams to deliver a comprehensive solution for clients.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact between the company and assigned clients
• Understand clients' technical requirements and align them with the company's products/services
• Collaborate with sales teams to identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling
• Assist clients in the implementation and integration of products/services
• Proactively address technical issues, troubleshoot, and provide timely solutions
• Conduct regular check-ins with clients to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback
• Work closely with internal teams (e.g., support, development) to meet client needs
• Stay updated on industry trends and product/service enhancements
• Provide technical training and documentation to clients as needed Education
• Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Technology, or a related field required.
• Equivalent combination of education and relevant IT industry experience may be considered. Preferred Certifications
• CompTIA A+ (preferred)
• CompTIA Network+ (preferred)
• CompTIA Security+ (preferred)
• Additional certifications such as Microsoft, Fortinet, Ubiquiti, ITIL, or project management certifications are a plus. Experience
• 25 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, managed services, technical account management, or a related technology role.
• Experience working directly with business clients and translating technical concepts into business-focused recommendations.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, cloud services, cybersecurity best practices, networking, and endpoint management. Core Competencies

• Ability to conduct business reviews, technology planning sessions, and strategic discussions with clients.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple client relationships simultaneously.
• Ability to identify technology risks, opportunities, and improvement initiatives for clients.
• Experience with PSA/ticketing systems and IT documentation platforms is preferred. Additional Desired Skills
• Understanding of managed IT services, cybersecurity frameworks, cloud technologies, and modern workplace solutions.
• Ability to collaborate with engineering, help desk, project management, and leadership teams.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to client success. Ideal Candidate Profile
• Recent graduate or early-career professional with an MIS or related technology degree and foundational IT certifications, looking to grow into a client-facing technology advisory role.
• Passion for technology, business process improvement, and helping clients achieve their business objectives through strategic use of IT. LP1 Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
