Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Director of Sales to lead the sales efforts for a portfolio of hotels. This strategic leadership role is responsible for driving revenue growth through proactive sales initiatives, mentoring and developing on-property sales teams, and collaborating with hotel leadership to maximize market share and profitability. The ideal candidate is an experienced hospitality sales professional with a proven track record of exceeding revenue goals, developing high-performing teams, and building lasting client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement regional sales strategies that align with company and hotel revenue goals.
• Lead, mentor, and support Directors of Sales and hotel sales teams across multiple properties.
• Partner with General Managers and Revenue Management to maximize occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and overall hotel profitability.
• Monitor sales performance, forecasting, and pipeline activity to ensure revenue objectives are achieved.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand existing client relationships across all market segments.
• Conduct regular property visits to provide coaching, evaluate performance, and ensure sales best practices are followed.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and STR reports to develop strategic action plans.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, company policies, and sales processes.
• Collaborate with marketing and operational teams to execute successful sales initiatives and promotional campaigns.
• Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of hotel sales leadership experience, including multi-property or regional oversight preferred.
• Proven track record of driving hotel revenue growth and exceeding sales goals.
• Strong understanding of hotel sales, group business, transient business, catering, revenue management, and market segmentation.
• Experience with hotel sales systems and CRMs (Delphi, CI/TY, Salesforce, or similar platforms).
• Strong knowledge of ADR, RevPAR, occupancy, forecasting, and hotel financial performance.
• Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
