Duties

• Conduct outside sales activities by reaching out to prospective clients through telemarketing, community events, and networking to promote insurance products.
• Engage in retail sales by assisting walk-in customers with policy inquiries, quotes, and coverage options.
• Negotiate terms and coverage details with clients to secure mutually beneficial agreements that meet their needs.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining positive client relationships.
• Manage sales administration tasks including processing applications, updating client records, and following up on leads.
• Analyze client data to recommend suitable insurance solutions and identify opportunities for cross-selling or upselling.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to develop outreach strategies that enhance brand visibility and attract new customers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing within the insurance or related industries.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and persuasively.
• Multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse client populations effectively.
• Excellent analysis skills for assessing client needs and tailoring insurance solutions accordingly.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and another language is a plus for broader outreach.
• Familiarity with sales administration processes and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations is beneficial when handling sensitive client information related to health insurance products.
