Inside Sales Representative PC & Electronics (B2B/Retail) Altex Computers & Electronics San Antonio, TX (IH35 North) About Altex Since 1980, Altex Computers & Electronics has been a premier provider of high- quality, off-the-shelf computer and networking solutions. What began as a single San Antonio storefront has evolved over 46 years into a powerhouse retail and distribution network. Today, we operate eight physical locations across Texas, a global Web Sales Department, and a robust e-commerce platform. We pride ourselves on being a technical resource for our customers, offering a level of expertise and product availability that is second to none. The Role We are looking for a professional, tech-savvy Inside Sales Representative to join our team at our IH35 North location in San Antonio. This is a full-time position focused on providing technical solutions to both retail walk-ins and B2B clients. The ideal candidate isn't just looking to "sell"they are looking to consult, troubleshoot, and ensure our customers walk away with the exact hardware they need.

Qualifications

• Technical Proficiency: A solid understanding of current computer hardware and components.
• Networking Knowledge: Familiarity with basic networking concepts and equipment.
• Consultative Mindset: Ability to research technical specifications and provide tailored solutions based on unique customer requests.
• Customer Excellence: A positive attitude with a commitment to providing professional, friendly service.
• Experience: Prior experience in retail, customer service, or a technical sales environment is highly preferred.
• Availability: Must be able to work during all hours of operation, including Saturdays.
