Job Title: Sales Associate Company: The UPS Store

Job Summary

: The Sales Associate at The UPS Store is responsible for delivering excellent customer service while handling a variety of retail and shipping-related tasks. This role involves assisting customers with packaging, shipping, printing, and other business service needs in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

:

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service
• Assist customers with shipping services, including packaging, labeling, and selecting appropriate shipping options
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately
• Provide information about products and services, including printing, mailbox rentals, and office supplies
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked store environment
• Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries
• Upsell store products and services when appropriate
• Follow company policies and procedures for shipping, packaging, and safety

Qualifications

:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer and math skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs

Work Environment

:

• Retail store setting with frequent customer interaction
• Standing for extended periods of time
• Weekend availability is required
