Job Summary

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and identify their automotive needs through active listening and engaging conversation
• Assist customers in selecting vehicles, explaining features, and upselling additional products or services to enhance their purchase experience
• Conduct automotive diagnostics, provide auto estimating, and recommend appropriate repairs or maintenance services
• Manage vehicle sales transactions, including financing options, trade-ins, and completing service writing documentation
• Promote and sell various automotive services such as oil changes, tire service, brake repair, alignments, suspension work, shocks & struts, diesel engine repair, air brake systems, and collision repair
• Coordinate with mechanics and service technicians to ensure timely vehicle repairs and maintenance are completed to customer satisfaction
• Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining detailed records of sales and service activities

Qualifications

• Proven experience in auto service management or dealership sales is highly preferred
• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive diagnostics, repair procedures, and vehicle maintenance
• Familiarity with auto estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell effectively while maintaining transparency
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; driving experience is essential for test drives and vehicle deliveries
• Knowledge of automotive repair including transmissions, oil changes, auto body repair, alignment, suspension systems, tire service, shocks & struts, brake repair, diesel engines, air brakes, and collision repair
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and maintain detailed records of sales activities
