Position Summary

The Physician Engagement Specialist (Medical Device Sales) is responsible for engaging physician leads, qualifying opportunities, and scheduling appointments for our senior sales team. This is not a cold-calling position. Every physician you contact has previously requested information, visited our booth at a conference, attended a seminar, downloaded information, or otherwise expressed interest in our products. Your primary responsibility is to build relationships, consistently follow up, understand where each physician is in the buying process, and ensure no opportunity is overlooked.

Responsibilities

• Contact physician leads by phone, email, text, and CRM campaigns.
• Execute structured follow-up sequences using our CRM.
• Qualify physician interest and identify buying readiness.
• Schedule demonstrations for senior sales representatives.
• Maintain detailed CRM notes after every interaction.
• Re-engage dormant opportunities.
• Follow up with trade show attendees.
• Coordinate appointments for product demonstrations.
• Work closely with outside sales representatives to transition qualified opportunities.
• Meet daily, weekly, and monthly activity goals.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 13 years of inside sales, business development, healthcare sales, or medical industry experience preferred
• CRM experience preferred (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, etc.)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
