Job Description

: We are working with a platinum-level MSFT Partner to find a dynamic Sales Director (IC) to lead the growth of our Microsoft Azure practice. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales initiatives independently and collaboratively with Business Unit Leaders and Sales teams. Your primary focus will be on expanding our presence within the Azure ecosystem, driving brand awareness, generating leads, and nurturing relationships to achieve business growth objectives.

Responsibilities

:

• Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategies to grow our Microsoft Azure business, working independently as well as with Business Unit Leaders and Sales teams.
• Sales Execution: Implement account strategies and pursue sales opportunities to realize growth for our Azure practice.
• Brand Promotion: Establish and promote our brand awareness and market our service offerings within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
• Lead Generation: Generate leads and build a sales pipeline through your personal network and various Microsoft Azure partnership channels.
• Prospecting: Engage in prospecting and lead generation through direct networking, social media, industry events, and referrals.
• Sales Management: Take ownership of the overall sales pursuits from identifying and qualifying opportunities to closing deals.
• Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships within our firm, Microsoft, and strategic ecosystem partners, including sales leadership, territory sellers, technical presales, delivery teams, and field marketing.
• Market Penetration: Leverage existing relationships within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem to expedite market penetration.

Requirements

:

• Experience: 15+ years of experience in selling IT consulting, professional services, outsourced development, and implementation services, including 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure.
• In-Depth Understanding: Comprehensive knowledge of Azure applications and their implementation.
• Network: Existing relationships within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem to help jumpstart conversations and go-to-market strategies.
• Sales Skills: Proven experience in technology sales or a similar role with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Motivation: Self-motivated and result-oriented with a demonstrated ability to drive results.
