Synapse by Freedom is a boutique rehabilitation and wellness center dedicated to redefining the standard of care through advanced neurological rehabilitation, orthopedic and post-surgical recovery, balance and vestibular rehabilitation, movement optimization, and wellness services. By combining evidence-based treatment, innovative rehabilitation technology, and highly personalized one-on-one care, we aim to become Southwest Florida's premier destination for rehabilitation, recovery, and lifelong wellness. As we prepare to open our doors, we're seeking an exceptional Healthcare Business Development Manager/Physician Liaison to be one of the first professionals representing our brand in the community. About the Opportunity This is far more than a traditional physician liaison position. We're looking for someone who enjoys opening doors, developing meaningful relationships, identifying opportunities, and becoming a trusted resource within the healthcare community. You'll serve as the face of Synapse by Freedom throughout Southwest Florida, working directly with the founders to shape our referral network, strategic partnerships, and long-term growth. Responsibilities

• Build and maintain long-term relationships with physicians, specialists, hospitals, healthcare providers, and community organizations.
• Educate referral partners about Synapse by Freedom's specialized rehabilitation and wellness services.
• Generate new referral opportunities while strengthening existing professional relationships.
• Represent Synapse by Freedom at physician offices, networking events, healthcare organizations, and community outreach events.
• Coordinate educational presentations, lunch-and-learn programs, and marketing initiatives.
• Identify strategic partnerships that support long-term business growth.
• Collaborate directly with leadership to develop and execute business development strategies.
• Monitor referral activity and maintain consistent communication with referral partners.
• Represent the Synapse by Freedom brand with professionalism, integrity, and exceptional customer service. What Success Looks Like Success in this role is measured by the quality of relationships you build and the reputation you help create. Successful candidates will:

Qualifications

We're looking for an experienced, self-motivated professional who enjoys building relationships and creating opportunities. Preferred qualifications include:

• Experience in healthcare business development, physician liaison, healthcare marketing, rehabilitation, home health, hospice, medical device, pharmaceutical sales, or related healthcare industries.
• Excellent communication, networking, and presentation skills.
• Strong relationship-building abilities with physicians and healthcare professionals.
• Highly organized with the ability to work independently.
• Professional appearance and a positive, service-oriented attitude.
• Knowledge of the Southwest Florida healthcare market is preferred.
