Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Gas Station Sales Associate to join our team at Chevron/Extra Mile Store in Vancouver, WA 98661. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service background, excel with multiple tasks at once, and be ready to assist our customers while ensuring the store operates smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their purchases.
• Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store, including the forecourt and restrooms.
• Restocking, monitor inventory levels, and assist with ordering as needed.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist in maintaining fuel pumps and other equipment.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a friendly manner.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient store operations.
• Support promotional activities and help implement marketing strategies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a retail or gas station environment.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, customer-oriented approach.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Flexible availability, including the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic proficiency in using computer systems for transactions and inventory management.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards is a plus.
