Overview

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. Duties

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with product selections.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, including cashiering and cash handling.
• Demonstrate products through engaging product demos to enhance customer experience and drive sales.
• Assist in merchandising efforts by ensuring displays are well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing.
• Utilize upselling techniques to promote additional products and increase overall sales.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, store policies, and product information to effectively assist customers.
• Supervise junior staff members when necessary, providing guidance and support in their roles.
• Perform basic math calculations for transactions and inventory management.
• Ensure the store is clean, safe, and well-stocked at all times.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
• Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus.
• Proficiency in using POS systems and basic math skills for accurate transactions.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
• Experience in stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels.
