Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Electrical Counter Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical supplies and materials, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to assist customers both in person and over the phone.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with product inquiries and orders.
• Process customer orders over the phone and at the sales counter.
• Assist customers in selecting the correct electrical materials and supplies for their projects.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders from the warehouse.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked sales counter and warehouse area.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through excellent service.
• Provide pricing, product availability, and lead time information.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
• Assist contractors, electricians, property managers, and homeowners with their electrical supply needs.

Requirements

• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in electrical supply sales, electrical distribution, electrical contracting, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of electrical materials and components, including:
• Switches
• Receptacles (outlets)
• Circuit breakers
• Electrical panels
• Wiring and cable
• Conduit and fittings
• Lighting products
• Transformers
• Voltage and amperage requirements
• Electrical codes and applications (preferred)
• Ability to read and understand basic electrical specifications and product information.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable working in both an office and warehouse environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and move materials when necessary.
• Experience with inventory systems and point-of-sale software is a plus. What We're Looking For
