Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Roofing Sales Specialist to lead our commercial and residential roofing sales efforts. This role offers an exciting opportunity to build strong customer relationships, develop new business, and drive revenue growth in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for managing territory sales, servicing leads distributed to you, and generating leads, conducting product demonstrations, and closing deals with clients across diverse markets. The ideal candidate is energetic, proactive, and passionate about delivering exceptional customer service while achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand our roofing services within assigned territories, focusing on both commercial and residential markets.
• Identify and generate new leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and digital marketing channels, including leveraging CRM software for prospecting activities.
• Conduct detailed product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients, showcasing the value of roofing solutions tailored to their needs.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through effective account management, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Negotiate contracts and close sales deals efficiently while adhering to company policies and pricing strategies.
• Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to deal closing, ensuring timely follow-up and communication with clients.
• Utilize CRM systems such as Salesforce or equivalent CRM management tools to track leads, manage customer data, analyze sales performance, and optimize territory coverage.

Requirements

• Proven experience in B2B (business-to-business) sales, especially within the roofing or construction industry; experience in technical or technology sales is a plus.
• Demonstrated success in managing territory sales through inside and outside sales approaches, including cold calling and direct client engagement.
• Strong skills in negotiation, deal closing, customer relationship building, and account management.
• Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), sales management systems, and other CRM tools for lead generation and pipeline management.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver compelling product demos and client presentations remotely or in person.
• Ability to meet or exceed sales targets consistently while maintaining high standards of customer service.
• Experience with marketing strategies that support lead generation and brand awareness initiatives.
• Strong analysis skills for assessing market opportunities and developing targeted sales strategies.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to prospecting, upselling, and expanding existing accounts within assigned territories.
