Overview

Description Our client is seeking an experienced, motivated and customer-focused individual to join their team as a Customer Sales Counter Representative specializing in hydraulic hose assemblies and hydraulic seals. This is a hands-on role that combines technical knowledge with outstanding customer service. You'll assist walk-in customers, troubleshoot hydraulic system needs, assemble custom hoses, and ensure the right sealing solutions are delivered promptly. Job

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist walk-in and phone customers at the sales counter.
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate hydraulic hose assemblies, fittings, and seals.
• Cut, assemble, and test hydraulic hoses to customer specifications.
• Maintain organized inventory of hose and seal products.
• Generate quotes, process orders and returns.
• Collaborate with sales, warehouse, and office teams.
• Keep a clean and safe work environment.
• Stay current on product knowledge, including new fittings, hoses, and sealing technology.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a hydraulic, industrial supply, or mechanical counter sales role. Strong knowledge of hydraulic hose types, fittings, and sealing applications.
• Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience assembling hoses or similar products. Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Basic computer proficiency (ERP systems, POS systems, email).
• Knowledge of hydaulic brands is a strong asset. Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
