Full description of the position

We are growing our Electrical Division and hiring a Business Development Representative (BDR) to develop trade partnerships and generate consistent electrical service revenue. This is a field-based, relationship-driven sales role. You will build and manage a territory, develop referral partners, and drive revenue growth.

Compensation

• 80,000 to 130,0000
• 3% commission on revenue closed
• Activity-based pay structured in compliance with Washington State requirements
• Uncapped earning potential

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with HVAC companies, remodeling contractors, mitigation companies, EV-related partners, hot tub companies, property managers, and other trade partners
• Prospect and develop new referral accounts within your assigned territory
• Conduct in-person visits, networking, and follow-up outreach
• Generate opportunities for panel upgrades, service upgrades, dedicated circuits, emergency power, and residential electrical services
• Manage pipeline and document activity in CRM
• Coordinate with Electrical Estimator and Operations to ensure smooth project execution
• Represent the company at industry and networking events

Qualifications

Required:

• 2+ years of outside sales or business development experience
• Experience generating new business through prospecting
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in the field
• Valid driver's license Preferred:
• Experience in construction, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, restoration, or trade services
• Existing contractor relationships in the local market
