Duties

• Create project submittal packages for approval by outside reviewing engineers and customers.
• Communicate effectively with our sales department to collect all relevant information relating to specific projects and ultimately assist with designing & coordination of building and supporting those systems.
• Analyze and interpret design drawings and specifications to develop accurate and timely equipment take- offs and help compose proposals for systems.
• Ensure that drawings comply with internal and customer drawing standards.
• Ultimately help run projects and coordinate with other departments and even outside vendors. Skills
• Well-organized and able to note details and help communicate them with others
• Good mechanical, electrical and/or analytical skills
• Good written and oral communication skills
• 2+ years of college preferred
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications
• Experience with Acumatica for Inventory and Sales Order creation.
• Exposure to plan drawings, specification take-offs and/or third-party approvals and standards.
• Any familiarity with pump operation, electrical panels & components and other pump systems details.

Metropolitan Industries, Inc. is a multiple market sales and service organization in the water & wastewater and Commercial plumbing & HVAC markets both locally and on a national basis.
