Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products or services with enthusiasm and professionalism
• Conduct product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement and upselling opportunities
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
• Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to ensure an attractive shopping environment
• Assist with stocking, inventory management, and ensuring shelves are replenished promptly
• Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely
• Support store supervision by creating a positive team environment amongst other sales associates and customers

Requirements

• Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in jewelry or similar environments
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic retail math for accurate transactions
• Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers in bilingual settings if applicable
• Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
• Experience in merchandising and displays
• Must be able to work weekends, evenings, and holiday seasons
• Supervising experience is a plus, indicating leadership capabilities within a team setting
• Ability to handle phone inquiries professionally and maintain excellent phone etiquette
