Full description of the position

Buckshot General Contracting (BGC) is growing, and we're looking for motivated, experienced Roofing Sales Representatives to join our team in the Charleston, SC market. If you have at least one year of roofing sales experience and enjoy helping homeowners protect their biggest investment, we'd love to hear from you. You'll have the opportunity to sell both retail roofing projects and storm restoration roofing services , giving you multiple avenues to build a successful pipeline and maximize your income. We're looking for self-starters who are driven, professional, and committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience from the initial inspection through project completion.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through neighborhood canvassing, referrals, networking, self-generated leads, and company-provided opportunities.
• Conduct roof inspections and identify roofing needs for homeowners.
• Educate customers on retail roof replacement options and the insurance claims process for storm-related damage.
• Build trust with homeowners by providing honest assessments and customized roofing solutions.
• Prepare and present estimates, proposals, and contracts.
• Guide customers through the sales process from initial contact to signed agreement.
• Maintain regular communication with customers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Track leads, follow-ups, and sales activity using the company's CRM system.
• Develop relationships with insurance adjusters, property owners, and referral partners when applicable.
• Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales goals while representing Buckshot General Contracting with professionalism and integrity.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of roofing sales experience required.
• Experience selling retail roofing projects, storm restoration projects, or both.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
• Comfortable generating leads through canvassing and networking.
• Ability to inspect roofs, identify storm damage, and educate homeowners on roofing solutions.
• Experience using CRM software is preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply but are not required.
