Overview

LINAK is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth within our TECHLINE business by identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities across the United States. This role is a true hunter position, focused on expanding LINAK's presence with Construction, Agriculture, and Defense OEM customers through the sale of high-quality electric actuators and motion solutions. The ideal candidate combines strong technical acumen with proven success in technical sales and business development. Frequent in-person customer engagement is critical to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within the Construction, Agriculture, and Defense markets
• Develop and execute business development strategies to grow LINAK TECHLINE actuator sales across the U.S.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with OEM customers, engineering teams, and decision-makers
• Conduct frequent in-person customer visits, presentations, and technical discussions (approximately 50% travel)
• Collaborate closely with internal sales, engineering, and application teams to develop customer-specific solutions
• Lead the sales process from initial opportunity identification through quotation, negotiation, and closing
• Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and emerging customer needs to inform growth strategy
• Accurately forecast pipeline activity and report progress toward business development goals

Requirements

:

• Must be resourceful and be able to work both independently and with a team.
• Excellent phone skills are a must.
• A proven history demonstrating the ability to determine the needs of the customer, develop technical solutions to meet those needs and communicate the solutions in a persuasive manner is required.
• Required is a minimum of 5 years sales experience with Industrial sales industry.
• Experience with Off-Highway industriy is preferred.
• Bachelors degree required in Business, Engineering or a related field. Screening
