Full description of the position

We are looking for a skilled and experienced inside salesperson to work in the analytical instrument industry. No experience in the industry required - we'll train you on all the products - but experience with analytical instrumentation is a plus. We are a very small team and reliability is essential.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and e-mails
• Answer customer technical questions
• Make product quotations
• Handle relationships with vendors and place purchase orders
• Enter sales orders and bills into the computer
• Process payments and pay bills
• Sign off completed orders for shipments Skills
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Some technical aptitude required
• Comfortable answering phone calls
• Good understanding of quality control principles
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Experience with QuickBooks highly desired
• High school diploma; Higher education preferred Full-time salaried position commensurate with experience. Resum and cover letter required. Work hours are 8AM - 4:30PM, Monday-Friday. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
