Overview

We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Assistant Boutique Selling Manager to join our team in a fast-paced, creative retail environment. In this role, you will be the true second-in-command, partnering closely with ownership to lead our team, drive floor sales and step up to run daily operations smoothly when leadership is away. The ideal candidate blends strong retail leadership with a passion for exceptional customer service and a creative eye for social media content creation.

Duties

• Sales & Team Leadership: Lead by example on the sales floor, motivating the team to achieve individual and store-wide sales goals.
• Operational Support: Manage daily store operations, including opening/closing, cash reconciliation, and navigating our Lightspeed POS system to process sales and track inventory.
• Team Development: Assist with training associates on styling techniques, product knowledge and customer service standards.
• Social Media & Content Creation: Bring your creativity to our digital presence! Brainstorm, shoot, and create engaging social media content (reels, stories, posts) that showcases our products and connects with our community.
• Inventory Control: Assist with receiving inventory, monitoring stock levels and analyzing sales reports to identify trends.
• E-Commerce Fulfillment: Assist when necessary with processing, accurately packing and shipping online orders to ensure a seamless unboxing experience for our customers.
• Digital Customer Service: Manage online customer service inboxes (voicemails, social media DMs and website inquiries), responding promptly and professionally to order questions, returns and product inquiries.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a retail assistant manager, keyholder or team lead with a strong track record in sales.
• Exceptional leadership qualities with the ability to inspire a team and independently manage the shop when needed.
• Experience with retail POS systems (Lightspeed experience is a major plus!).
• A passion for social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, etc.) and an eye for creating aesthetic, engaging content for a small business.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build lasting relationships with customers and staff.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings as needed.
• Experience with, or a strong willingness to learn, e-commerce backend platforms (Shopify) and digital customer communication. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
