Our growing sales and marketing company is hiring an Event Sales Assistant in Houston, TX. This is a full-time, in-person opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, participating in promotional events, and contributing to customer acquisition and sales campaigns. As an Event Sales Assistant, you will represent client brands at promotional events and customer outreach locations throughout the Houston area. You will speak directly with customers, provide accurate information about available products and services, assist with product demonstrations, and help customers identify solutions that fit their needs. This position combines event support, customer service, brand representation, and sales. The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, comfortable speaking with new people, and motivated to grow within a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Represent client brands at promotional events and customer outreach campaigns
• Engage with customers through friendly, professional face-to-face communication
• Explain products, services, promotions, and campaign information clearly and accurately
• Ask questions to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions
• Deliver engaging product presentations and demonstrations
• Assist with event setup, organization, coordination, and daily execution
• Build positive relationships with customers and client representatives
• Support customer acquisition, retention, and event sales goals
• Maintain knowledge of current client products, services, promotions, and campaign updates
• Track customer interactions, sales activity, and event results when required
• Follow company guidelines for professionalism, attendance, appearance, and customer service
• Collaborate with team members to improve event performance and the customer experience

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable approaching and speaking with customers in person
• Dependable, organized, and goal-oriented
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Able to work independently and contribute within a team
• Reliable transportation to our Houston office and assigned local event locations
• Previous experience in sales, customer service, events, promotions, marketing, hospitality, or brand representation is helpful but not required
