Position Summary
Prepares estimates to achieve company gross profit margin goal, materials take off and general coordination for initial job planning. Identifies materials required for job and provides ongoing job activities leading up to shipment or completions. Essential Duties
Provides response to customers' calls and issues within 24 hours. Ensures sufficient bid volume is achieved to support company revenue goals. Prepares estimates consistent with format or guidelines provided and maximize utilization of Estimating System for preparation of estimates and job documents. Ensures estimates are consistently submitted by the expected delivery date and consistently follows up with customer leading up to bid award. Provides outside sales force with support such as preparation of internal documents for order processing, production and expediting delivery. Provide customers with technical support as it relates to specifications, plans, products or services applications. The Inside Sales Representative assumes profit and loss responsibility for assigned jobs by ensuring jobs are estimated to achieve gross profit margin and project management support provided to ensure jobs are completed within budget. Performs project management functions such as identification of job requirements, performs takeoffs, prepares bill of materials, performs or coordinates procurement of supplies, materials and equipment, schedules project, coordinates job activities to achieve completion within budget, on schedule and customer satisfaction achieved. Ensure sales activity level or amount of sales call conducted is in accordance with department goals in support of planned sales volume goals Resolve any customer complaints and follows up on any warranty issues and other claims with suppliers. Obtain and communicate information required for Inside sales to prepare quotes and ensure quotes are submitted by the due date. Reviews quotes, ensure gross profit goal is achieved, verify specifications, and ensures quotes are comprehensive and accurate Manage the conversion of accepted proposals into properly completed job and ensure the necessary daily coordination, documentation and communications to facilitate the flow and control of project costs and information required to ensure the organized completion of assigned jobs/projects within the project budget, to meet the customer's needs and schedules. Attend sales events and customer based enterainment Update weekly reports / key performance indicators Physical
Requirements
Must be able to sit for long periods of time. Must have visual acuity necessary to read material composed on video display terminals Must have the ability to move from place to place within the building Must be able to complete repetitive motion of hands and arms to input/retrieve information from computer. Work Environment
This position will be working primarily indoors in a climate-controlled, smoke-free environment, but also Requires the employee be working in customers' facilities and job sites with varying temperature conditions, some like outdoor conditions. the normal auto and air Travel hazards will apply. Travel will be in all types of weather including heavy rain and below freezing temperatures with snow conditions possible. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be higher in other areas or when visiting customers' or vendor sites. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
