Position Summary

Customer Service Representatives are responsible for thoroughly processing customer requests and orders by telephone, fax or email in a courteous and professional manner. CSRs must be aware of profitability and branch performance.

• Perform your job responsibilities consistent with Baart's mission and vision statements and guiding principles.
• Each employees' job description is not all-encompassing. Every employee is expected to perform any task as directed by their manager or supervisor.
• Every employee is expected to comply with all company rules including the Employee Handbook, Safety Policy, and Quality Manual.
• Every employee will be assigned regular working hours. However, each employee will be expected to be flexible and work overtime with little or no notice to meet customer requirements.
• Employees are not allowed to operate any vehicles, forklifts, or shop equipment unless authorized to do so.
• Maintain a high level of cooperation between all external and internal customers. Customer Service & Sales:
• Promptly answer phone calls and assist counter customers in an expedient and courteous manner.
• Help the customer get what they need, regardless of what they ask for.
• Treat all customers with respect and in a courteous, friendly manner.
• Develop positive rapport with customers.
• Be creative and positive in order to inspire customer confidence.
• Provide input to Outside Sales on customers' requests and orders.
• Get back to customers in a timely and appropriate manner.
• A Customer Service Representative is not an order taker, as such. They should always lead the customer toward making a purchase, when appropriate. Order Management:
• Process orders thoroughly and accurately.
• Provide complete and understandable instructions on all aspects of each order.
• Coordinate efforts with all appropriate departments and personnel to ensure customer satisfaction.

:

• Maintain catalogs and product files at your desk for quick reference.
• Keep up to date on new products, etc.
• Complete Baart training as required by management. Location & Commitments

• This is a full-time position.
• Hours are 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Good organizational skills.
• Must be multi-task oriented.
• Must be able to work with a wide variety of people and personalities.
