Full description of the position

Looking for a driven sales professional with manufacturing experience and strong cold-calling skills to grow industrial accounts. (estimated $50,000 $90,000+ annually based on performance/commission). This position is not a remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily cold calling and outbound outreach to generate new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for accounts, ensuring needs are met from inquiry through delivery.
• Collaborate with internal teams to process RFQs and POs accurately and efficiently.
• Present Astro's machining, fabrication, and engineering capabilities clearly to prospective customers.
• Manage the full sales process: quoting, follow-up, order tracking, and customer updates.
• Address customer questions or concerns promptly and coordinate resolutions internally.
• Use your understanding of manufacturing terms and processes to support customer needs.
• Leverage your industrial sales experience to meet or exceed revenue goals.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (required for certain projects).
• Experience in business development, inside sales, or account management.
• Comfortable and confident making daily cold calls (required).
• Manufacturing or industrial sales experience strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing terminology and processes.
• Proven success in closing industrial or technical sales.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Experience processing RFQs and POs is a plus.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and customer-focused mindset. What We Offer
