We specialize in forklift repairs, preventive maintenance, rentals, refurbished forklift sales, tires, batteries, and parts. We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated Sales Manager to help grow our customer base, increase service sales, and strengthen relationships with existing customers.

Position Summary

This position consists of approximately 75% inside sales/account management and 25% outside sales. The Sales Manager will be responsible for generating new business, following up on estimates, obtaining repair approvals, maintaining customer relationships, promoting Preventive Maintenance (PM) programs, negotiating sales and service agreements, and producing sales reports for management. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, negotiating with customers, and helping grow a business.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new business through outbound phone calls, emails, referrals, networking, and customer outreach.
• Follow up on estimates to obtain approvals for repairs, preventive maintenance, rentals, parts, batteries, tires, and forklift sales.
• Negotiate pricing, repair approvals, payment options, and service agreements while protecting company profitability.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing customers.
• Schedule and conduct customer visits to strengthen relationships and identify new sales opportunities.
• Promote Preventive Maintenance (PM) programs to generate recurring business and identify future repair opportunities.
• Work closely with the service department to ensure excellent customer service and timely communication.
• Prepare estimates, proposals, and sales presentations.
• Maintain accurate customer records and sales activities within company software.
• Generate weekly and monthly sales reports, including sales performance, estimates, approvals, new customer acquisition, and sales pipeline reports for management.
• Track sales goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Assist management in developing sales strategies and identifying growth opportunities.
• Represent Almeida Forklifts professionally and maintain a positive company image.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of B2B sales, account management, or business development experience.
• Strong negotiation and closing skills with the ability to confidently overcome objections and secure customer approvals.
• Proven ability to generate new business and maintain long-term customer relationships.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management abilities.
• Experience preparing reports and analyzing sales performance.
• Comfortable working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and CRM or sales management software.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Valid Florida Driver's License with a clean driving record. Experience in the forklift, industrial equipment, material handling, construction, automotive, or heavy equipment industry is preferred but not required. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is someone who:
