Overview

The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for growing revenue and profitability in the Channelview, Texas territory by supporting existing customers and actively developing new business. The Outside Sales Representative delivers fast, accurate, and customized solutions while executing strategies to meet revenue and profit goals.

Responsibilities

• Grow revenue and gross profits within the assigned Channelview, TX territory
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers
• Identify new business opportunities
• Develop and execute territory sales plans to meet or exceed revenue targets
• Partner with vendors and internal teams to deliver customized, timely solutions
• Utilize ERP tools for pricing, quoting, and customer data management
• Maintain up-to-date product knowledge across industrial lines, including MRO, PPE, safety, and marine supplies
• Provide regular territory updates and pipeline reporting to sales leadership Experience
• 5+ years of outside sales experience, preferably in industrial or marine distribution
• Strong working knowledge of industrial products (MRO, PPE, safety, material handling, etc.)
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-oriented
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
