Auto Sales Assistant / Delivery Coordinator
Position Summary
The Auto Sales Assistant / Delivery Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the dealership's sales team while ensuring every customer has an outstanding vehicle delivery experience. This position is designed as a career development opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing a career in automotive sales. Through hands-on training, mentorship, and daily interaction with customers and the sales process, successful team members can transition into a full-time Automotive Sales Consultant role. Hourly training pay plus monthly performance bonus opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Delivery Coordination
- Schedule and coordinate new and pre-owned vehicle deliveries.
- Prepare vehicles and delivery paperwork prior to customer appointments.
- Conduct vehicle delivery presentations, including demonstrating vehicle features, technology, and basic maintenance information.
- Ensure customers have a smooth, professional, and memorable delivery experience.
- Follow up with customers after delivery to answer questions and ensure satisfaction. Sales Support
- Assist Sales Consultants with daily operations and customer appointments.
- Maintain the showroom and vehicle displays to dealership standards.
- Help organize inventory and ensure vehicles are clean, fueled, and ready for demonstration.
- Support test drives and customer vehicle demonstrations.
- Assist with CRM updates, customer records, and follow-up communications. Administrative
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Finance, Service, and Detail departments to ensure vehicles are delivery-ready.
- Verify delivery documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain organized files and dealership records.
- Assist with dealership events, promotions, and customer appreciation activities. Career Development This position is intended as a pathway into Automotive Sales. Through structured on-the-job training, employees will learn:

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Customer service, hospitality, retail, or automotive experience preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled. Physical
