At Zuri, our consultants are the reason clients come back and we're looking for someone who can own that relationship from hello to delivered order. Zuri is a Dallas-based modern furnishings brand. Since opening our first showroom in 2006, we've grown into a nationwide company that designs, develops, and sells its own collections through our showrooms and online. Our Showroom Sales Consultants are at the center of it all. ABOUT THE ROLE This is a true sales role with the polish of high-end design. You'll guide clients across our showroom floor, our live chat, and the phone helping them design spaces they love while meeting and exceeding your sales goals. It's fast-paced, highly autonomous, and deeply cross-functional: you'll own each client's journey and work with every team at Zuri to see it through. If you think "design consultant" means waiting for walk-ins, this isn't that. You'll run your own pipeline, solve real problems, and close. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Own the client relationship from first touch to delivered order in the showroom, over live chat, and on the phone delivering a luxury-level experience at every step. - Work your pipeline in our CRM: respond fast to inbound, reach out with purpose, follow up on quotes, and log every interaction. Follow-through is the job. - Confidently present product and price, handle objections, and close using current promotions to help clients decide. - Step in when issues come up: open or update a support ticket and drive it to resolution with the right team. - Partner across every department customer experience, warehouse, delivery, custom orders and operate independently to keep each order moving. - Guide clients with a real point of view on style, and deliver the occasional design presentation. - Help keep the showroom clean, organized, and welcoming day to day. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - A proven closer with consultative or relationship-based sales experience (furniture or design a plus). - Comfortable living in software CRM, point-of-sale, chat, and ticketing tools and quick to learn new systems. - Numerate and detail-tight: you can build a clean quote and manage a deposit without fumbling a lead time. - A strong communicator in writing and in person, across chat, email, phone, and the floor. - Highly self-directed, organized, and disciplined you own outcomes and follow up relentlessly. - A genuine eye for design and style, enough to guide clients and present with confidence. - Available evenings, weekends, and holidays.
