Inside Sales Representative Previous experience in the construction industry is required Location: Meridian/Boise Area Pay: $48,000 per year + 1.25% Sales Commission Schedule: Full-Time Start: Through American Staffing, Inc. (Temp-to-Hire) We are seeking an energetic and experienced Inside Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team in the Meridian/Boise area. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who excels in B2B sales, cold calling, customer research, and relationship development. This is a long-term career opportunity for someone who wants to grow with the company and eventually retire with the team. The Inside Sales Representative will be the driving force behind lead generation, customer engagement, and business development. While most of the work is performed in the office using the phone and computer, the role also includes occasional in-person client meetings. Your ability to research quickly, gather intelligence, and communicate value to customers will be essential in this position.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the construction industry is required.
• Candidates must have hands-on knowledge of construction materials, terminology, and industry practices. Experience in asphalt maintenance, commercial or residential contracting, construction supply, paving, or closely related fields is highly preferred. (Experience limited to residential window, door, or similar retail sales alone is not sufficient for this position).
• Prior B2B sales or customer service experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and customer service abilities.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Experience using CRM software is required; QuickBooks experience is preferred.

Duties

• Generate new sales opportunities through research, cold calling, and follow-up on customer inquiries.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships through exceptional communication and follow-up.
• Respond to customer questions and resolve issues promptly while providing outstanding customer service.
• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the company's products, services, and industry.
• Identify customer needs and recommend products or services that provide the best solutions.
• Guide customers through the complete sales process, including product information, demonstrations, quotes, and closing sales.
• Process customer orders accurately and coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely fulfillment.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities using CRM software and other company systems.
• Provide front desk coverage and customer service support as needed.
• Assist customers with loading and unloading purchased products when necessary.
