Business Development Manager - Freight Forwarding Doral, FL $130,000 + Car Allowance + Commission

Overview

We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive new business growth and expand our presence across South Florida and the surrounding region. This role is focused on developing new customer relationships, increasing revenue through strategic sales initiatives, and supporting the continued growth of our international freight forwarding operations. The successful candidate will have a strong background in international logistics and freight forwarding, with the ability to identify opportunities, build lasting client relationships, and deliver tailored supply chain solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and secure new business opportunities within the freight forwarding and logistics sector
• Manage and grow existing customer accounts while identifying additional revenue opportunities
• Prepare, present, and negotiate proposals, RFQs, tenders, and quotations
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, carriers, and strategic partners
• Monitor market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activity
• Maintain accurate records within CRM systems and provide regular sales reporting Skills & Experience
• Proven experience in International Freight Forwarding sales
• Strong knowledge of Air Freight and Ocean Freight services
• Demonstrated success in business development and account management
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Strong understanding of freight forwarding processes, documentation, and regulations
