Full description of the position

We're hiring a Sales Representative/Associate to support our sales team in managing customer accounts, maintaining accurate customer and sales data, and assisting with outreach to new and existing customers. This role requires strong organization, the ability to learn technical product details, and excellent communication skills. This position will involve regular travel to customer sites and trade events (1-2/month).

Key Responsibilities

• Enter orders, quotes, and customer updates accurately.
• Track customer interactions and follow up as required.
• Serve as a primary contact for assigned accounts.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries (phone/email).
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure customer expectations are met.
• Research and identify potential new customer leads.
• Initiate outbound outreach campaigns (calls, emails, field visits).
• Support account acquisition strategies under guidance from senior sales team.
• Visit customer sites throughout the region as needed.
• Represent company at trade shows and industry events.
• Continuously build product knowledge to support credible conversations with customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (required); Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or similar (preferred).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel within regional sales territory. This role requires a high level of personal accountability and initiative. Candidates must be comfortable working independently, managing their own schedule, and staying productive without constant supervision. Long-term success depends on persistence, curiosity, and strong internal motivation. INDSLC Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
