Full description of the position

• Greeting customers, responding to questions, improving engagement with merchandise and providing outstanding customer service.
• Advising customers on type of equipment for specific purposes, such as type of fishing pole, fishing bait, size of a kayak, type of a knife.
• Explains care of equipment, regulations of games, and fish and game laws.
• Informs customer of areas for hunting, fishing, or hiking, and cost of such outings.
• May repair sporting goods like fishing reels, fishing poles, and spool line.
• Operating cash registers, managing financial transactions, and balancing drawers.
• Achieving established goals.
• Directing customers to merchandise within the store.
• Superior product knowledge.
• Maintaining an orderly appearance throughout the sales floor.
• Fishing experience is a big plus. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: From $17.50 per hour
