Responsibilities

Business Development & Lead Generation

  • Develop new business opportunities through networking, referrals, prospecting, and relationship building.
  • Identify and pursue residential and commercial projects that align with Northland Cabinets' capabilities.
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and consistently work toward sales goals. Customer Consultation & Cabinet Solutions
  • Meet with customers to understand their project goals, budget, and functional needs.
  • Recommend cabinet solutions, finishes, accessories, and design options that best meet customer expectations.
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of cabinet construction, materials, finishes, and industry trends. Proposal Development & Sales
  • Prepare accurate estimates, proposals, and project budgets.
  • Present proposals professionally and confidently.
  • Negotiate project details and successfully close sales.
  • Coordinate contracts, deposits, and project approvals. Project Management (Sales Phase)
  • Manage assigned cabinet projects from initial customer engagement through signed contract by coordinating design development, estimating, customer communication, scheduling, and project documentation.
  • Ensure project requirements, selections, timelines, and approvals are complete and accurate prior to transitioning the project to production.
  • Conduct a thorough project handoff to the production team to ensure a smooth transition. Account Management
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with builders, contractors, remodelers, designers, and homeowners.
  • Provide exceptional customer service before, during, and after the sales process.
  • Identify opportunities for repeat business and referrals.
Qualifications

Required

  • Proven sales experience, preferably within the cabinet, millwork, remodeling, construction, or building products industry.
  • Strong prospecting and business development skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Preferred
  • Experience with CAD or cabinet design software such as Cabinet Vision, 2020 Design, or similar.
  • Knowledge of cabinet manufacturing processes, construction methods, and building materials.
  • Experience reading and scaling blueprints and architectural drawings.

: $52,000$124,600 annually, based on qualifications, experience, and performance. Schedule:

  • MondayThursday: 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m.
  • Friday: 8:00 a.m. 2:30 p.m.
