Ai Insurance Services is seeking an experienced, Licensed Insurance Account Representative to join our growing independent insurance agency at our office in North Charleston, South Carolina. This role is for a licensed insurance professional who enjoys working directly with clients, servicing policies, and helping individuals and businesses find the right insurance solutions.The ideal candidate must hold an active South Carolina Property & Casualty Insurance License and have prior experience working in the insurance industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to existing policyholders
• Assist clients with policy changes, renewals, and coverage questions
• Quote and bind new insurance policies for personal and/or commercial lines
• Review client policies to ensure proper coverage and identify cross-selling opportunities
• Work with multiple insurance carriers to find competitive coverage options
• Process endorsements, certificates, and other policy servicing requests
• Maintain accurate client records in the agency management system
• Follow agency procedures and Texas insurance regulations
• Support the agency team in meeting sales and service goals

Qualifications

Required

• Active South Carolina Property & Casualty Insurance License
• Prior experience working in an insurance agency or insurance-related role
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and clients efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Preferred
• Experience working in an independent insurance agency
• Familiarity with agency management systems and rating platforms
• Experience with personal lines and/or commercial lines insurance
• Must hold a current Property/Casualty Insurance License
• Strong analysis skills to assess client needs and recommend appropriate coverage options
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills to build trust and close deals effectively
• Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse client populations but this is no required for this position
