Overview

Marquis Jewelers is a small, family-owned, retail business that has been serving the suburbs of Boston, Massachusetts since 1977. Our specialty is selling fine jewelry, watches and gift ware; in addition we provide several services including, but not limited to, jewelery repairs, engraving, sizing, and appraisals. We are looking for a motivated, energized, and flexible individual to join our team! We are seeking and an individual to provide sales & customer experience support, with both our in-store and online operations. This role requires in- person selling, general customer service operations, and entry level digital retail skills. include online order management, product listings, and digital customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products or services that meet their needs
• Manage inventory control and inventory management tasks to ensure product availability and accuracy
• Provide excellent customer service through active listening, clear communication, and problem-solving
• Process customer transactions Additional Skills:
• Comfortable working with computers and online platforms
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to learn new systems quickly
• Basic understanding of e-commerce or online marketplaces (training provided)
• Strong written communication skills Team Player Mindset
• Be adaptive and willing to pitch in when needed on the fly
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with colleagues and management
• Have a positive attitude and be willing to learn

Requirements

• Must be 21 or older
• Bachelors degree preferred
• Able to work 36-40 hours a week, Saturdays are a requirement
• This job is in person and consistent transportation is necessary
• Follow our business-casual dress code
• Have well developed interpersonal skills such as a good listener, social awareness, problem solver and comfort in talking with customers
• Experience in retail/sales preferred; specific experience in jewelry NOT REQUIRED Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour
