Overview

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. We are a family-owned business with a large client base throughout Hampden County. In this role, you will be responsible for generating business opportunities through outbound calling and nurturing existing client relationships. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of B2B sales processes, with a focus on supply products and services. The goal of this position is to train on inside sales and eventually move to an outside sales role with even more earning potential!

Responsibilities

• Manage customer interactions and track sales activities.
• Engage in warm calling to follow up and reestablish business with old clients or upsell to current customers.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients by providing exceptional customer service.
• Negotiate terms and close sales effectively while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the outside sales team to align strategies.
• Provide sales support by understanding product specifications and addressing client inquiries.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and follow-up tasks.

Requirements

• 1-2 years Proven experience in inside sales, preferably in a B2B environment.
• Experience in a supply industry such as electrical, plumbing, packaging, cleaning supplies, etc.
• Ability to engage customers through effective outbound calling techniques.
• Strong customer service orientation with a focus on building long-term relationships.
• Knowledge of business development strategies and marketing principles is a plus.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour Work Location: In person
