Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in promoting our properties, assisting potential tenants, and ensuring a smooth leasing process. This position requires strong administrative skills, excellent phone etiquette, and a solid understanding of property management practices. As a Leasing Consultant, you will be the first point of contact for prospective residents and will be responsible for showcasing our properties while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.

Duties

• Conduct property tours for prospective tenants, highlighting key features and benefits of the units.
• Manage the leasing process from start to finish, including application processing and lease signing.
• Maintain accurate records of tenant applications and leasing activities through data entry.
• Track property maintenance requests and ensure timely resolutions.
• Negotiate lease terms with potential tenants while adhering to legal guidelines.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing tenant inquiries and resolving conflicts effectively.
• Collaborate with the property management team to ensure properties are well-maintained and meet leasing standards.
• Stay informed about local market trends and competitive properties to effectively promote our offerings.

Requirements

• Proven experience in property leasing or property management is preferred.
• Strong administrative skills with proficiency in data entry and record keeping.
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to interact professionally with clients.
• Knowledge of relevant laws governing property leasing and tenant rights.
• Ability to negotiate effectively while maintaining positive relationships with tenants.
• Familiarity with property maintenance processes is a plus.
• Strong conflict management skills to handle tenant concerns diplomatically.
