Job Summary

: Kennedy Carpet is seeking a friendly, organized, and results-driven Showroom Sales Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers, has an eye for design, and wants to help clients choose the best flooring solutions for their homes or businesses. You'll be the face of our showroom, guiding customers through carpet, hard wood, vinyl, and other flooring options.

Key Responsibilities

:

• Greet customers in the showroom and assist them in selecting flooring products that suit their style, budget, and functional needs.
• Provide product knowledge, design advice, and flooring recommendations.
• Prepare and present quotes, pricing, and product comparisons.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing showroom.
• Follow up on customer inquiries, quotes, and open orders to close sales.
• Coordinate with the installation and operations teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Keep up to date with product lines, promotions, and industry trends.
• Enter customer data and sales activity into the system accurately.
• Help manage sample inventory and ordering of showroom materials.

Qualifications

:

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree a plus.
• Prior experience in retail sales, flooring, or home improvement preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic math and computer skills (familiarity with POS systems or CRM software a plus).
• Friendly, professional demeanor with a strong customer service focus.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently or as part of a team.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented. Work Schedule:
