Job Title Leasing Agent

Job Summary

At Liberty Asset Group, we are looking to bring a team member that is eager to learn, and ready to work in a fast paced environment. We are seeking a professional, energetic, and customer-focused Leasing Agent to join our team. The Leasing Agent is responsible for assisting prospective residents through the leasing process while providing exceptional customer service to current residents. This role includes conducting property tours, processing applications, maintaining resident relationships, and helping maximize occupancy.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist prospective residents in person, over the phone, and via email
• Conduct property tours and highlight community amenities and features
• Manage the leasing process from initial inquiry through move-in
• Process rental applications, background checks, and lease paperwork
• Maintain knowledge of current pricing, availability, and leasing specials
• Follow up with prospective residents to maintain strong closing ratios
• Respond to resident questions and assist with resident relations
• Coordinate move-ins and ensure units are ready for occupancy
• Maintain accurate records and update property management software daily
• Assist with marketing efforts, outreach, and resident retention initiatives
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and company policies
• Support office operations and assist team members as needed

Qualifications

• Previous leasing, sales, customer service, or property management experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn property management software
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills
• Weekend availability may be required
• High school diploma or equivalent required Preferred Skills
• Experience with property management software such as Entrata, Yardi, AppFolio, or ResMan
• Sales and closing experience
• Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations
• Bilingual is a plus
